My year in GRi11 2.0

Dear my future self . in my class 2016 Grill 2.0 I have been involved in lots of things i would never have expected to be involved in  like a dance! Being a member and being in such a cool Futsal team.

I have never been in a class with so many computers. I like it sometimes and other times not so much. For about 1 or 2 terms we talked about digital citizenship it has help me with being safe on instagram and all the social network. I know that out there, there are some scary people.

This year in grill 2.0 our 4 unties we have been focusing on are Hauro Showtime Environment Cultural diversity. Previously on tuesday we did some cultural sports with the sports cultural group because  term 4 has been about cultural diversity and learning about culture . I Was in the orgazion group we helped the food group do cultural food and our class dug in and ate it.

All of our work is digital so every week we do fast track.

Fast track is like were we  get set tasks like maths  and literacy we have one whole week to finish fast track if you  don't finish it in that time you have to finish it in your own time. and the end of most days we have to say if we gave our work today a honest effort.

Camp at sixtus lodge with my class grill 2.0 was cool we went for big walks which wasn't my favorite thing but other then that it was cool. We ride horses we did  camp activities and had fun every day.

Overall GRi11 2.0l has taught me awesome things this year and i have developed lots of skill on the computers.😀

cultral diverstey

This term in grill 2.0 we are doing cultural diversity. My group is running the event. It is On Wednesday the 16th of November.

We are on the right track to something good I am pretty sure we will be able to achieve this event we have setup it Already we are on track.

overall I am happy how it is going. I think every one will enjoy it. We have done a floor plan and we have sorted where the tables go and were the food gos

The people coming Are grill 2.0 we are aloud three things each it going to be a good day.

jack liller and the vulture

One day there was A little boy called Jack liller he was searching for The famous bird called the Vulture. He had his favorite basket with him In case he found some cool things like leaves. So he searched And searched he saw a bird The same colours as the Vulture he looked at the colours and he definitely knew It was It . But  he climbed up on the tree with his basket and pulled the vulture into his basket . but… he found out It was a prank!!. His friend was hiding In the tree and he laughed his head off. So jack keep walking along on the way he saw a big giant with a big mouth open wide. Jack was very strong he had a big arm incase he decided to fight him.

He was still walking at 7 o'clock he started to get scared because It was getting dark In the forest. Bamm a big nose went In the woods

The giant had his mouth wide open To eat Jack. But jack as I said he has a very strong arm Jack pulled his guns out even though the sun wasn't  out he still did It the giant ran away jack saw A Vulture blinking moving It was Alive. He climbed up the tree like a cat  and patted The vulture he was a good vulture jack took him home and took good care of him but one moment later. The vulture spewed all over his bed Jack hated spu. So he shouted oh!!!!

And … his mum said darling what's wrong!! mum didn't know about the vulture. So he said um um um it's theeee people on the street the having a party and its loud. So his mum said oh i will go tell the to quiet down. He said no no . why not darling she said he said i will  and he went over and joined the party and then said i'm alright mum meanwhile the vulture had spewed on the carpet. The cleaner for there house when up the vulture spewed on her. Mum went outside to hang the washing and the cleaner sat there cover in spu and jack was partying till 12 o'clock.

Guyforks

On Saturday I went to the summer hill fireworks with my Brother and his Friends

When we were heading there we got there 40 mins before to get a front row seat. 40 minutes later… Bam! Huge fire works.

They went for 20 minutes There was big ones that went high. whistling ones. and little ones. We were just sitting there and boom! I freaked out thankfully it was only A fire work.

Overall it was A great night.

war memeories

I asked my Grandparents (Dad’s parents) about their family’s involvement in the war.

My Grandad's Dad didn't go to war because he worked for the government in the National Film Unit.  He was an electrical engineer/film technician and his job was to make newsreels about the war so people could stay up to date (in those days they didn’t have TV news, in fact they didn’t even have TVs).  He got polio after the war in 1952 and ended up crippled, but to start with my Dad thought he didn’t go to war because he got polio before the war.

My Grandma’s Dad also worked for the government as a civil engineer and he was stationed in Fiji during the war. He worked on engineering projects for the armed forces, but he wasn’t able to share much detail about it because they were secret. At the end of the war he worked on some big NZ engineering projects like the railway tunnels at Kaikoura.

Flip city

On Saturday  my sister, Blake, Santino and I went to Flip City.

We had a flipping fun time. I can easily get up the challenge wall now. Sadly the air pit was closed but it was still fun.

When we were starting to get to the end of the session we played dodgeball. I hit this kid nine times and he still didn't go out and it made me unhappy.

We were doing trick shots on the basketball hoop like slam dunks,shooting threes and stuff like that.

It was really fun and I want go again

Tramp fun!

On The weekend me my brother and his friend had a sleepover. he staid Saturday to Sunday  . On Sunday we decided To move the tramp under the tree I asked my mum if we were aloud to jump out off  the tree she said no but we did It and she realised it was fine.

We started doing tricks so  when you jump out of The Tree you have on bounce the do  A trick in the air I did A Parani

over all The weekend was so fun!

My Aussie trip the best day of my life.

I was ariving  home from a party in a car with some friends my brother came ot the gate and said carter carter!! were going to a ussie. So i went inside to see if this was a setup turndout it wasent. My sister had won us a trip to ausssie thru the lido. She showed e she had wo n it.

any way my trip to aussie. We were flying in the plane we aksked for they i pads they had no ipads!!!!! so it was a slow ride  there. anyway here we are  at dimond beacse resort  huge pool so many big pools everything lits up new friends. We went shopping  i got 8 or 9 t-shirts and a pear of shoes and alote more. Then we came home night swim

Bike saftey

On Wednesday The 2nd of November Grill 2.0 had the police man Mike to talk to use us about bike Safety.

He sad us down to talk about bike safety. I learnt lots so did the lads. After the sat us down in the hall we got some fresh air and did some races on the sprint track. After that we had morning tea then It was time they set a track up for us then we were riding on  it was very fun it was funny because JRJ went on the wrong side of the rode.

Everyone had such a good time it was fun funny and cool most important we learnt the road rules.
